Successful Critical Care Transport of a High-Risk COPD Patient

Our critical care transport team successfully executed the inter-hospital transfer of a 58-year-old male patient diagnosed with severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) complicated by community-acquired pneumonia. The patient was transferred from Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, Punjabi Bagh to Shri Action Balaji Hospital, Paschim Vihar.
The patient was on BiPAP (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure) support with very high oxygen requirement (20 L/min) and fluctuating hemodynamic parameters, making this a high-risk, time-sensitive transfer. Continuous monitoring, advanced airway management, and real-time intervention by our trained professionals ensured a safe and stable transfer despite the life-threatening condition.
Kudos to the dedication, precision, and expertise of our transport and critical care team.
