Sir Gangaram Hospital to Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya to PGI Noida

A premature, low birth weight neonate (birth weight approximately 900 grams), diagnosed with a congenital heart defect, was initially admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. Due to the complexity of the case and the need for advanced pediatric care, the neonate was subsequently transferred to Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya Hospital, New Delhi, for further specialized medical management.
At the time of transfer, the infant was critically ill, requiring full ventilatory support and was being managed with multiple intravenous inotropic and vasopressor infusions to maintain hemodynamic stability. Comprehensive evaluation at Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya confirmed the presence of a significant congenital cardiac anomaly, which necessitated further specialized cardiac and neonatal intensive care.
Given the severity of the condition and the need for advanced interventional or surgical management, the patient was referred to the Post Graduate Institute of Child Health (PGICH), Noida, a tertiary care center with expertise in pediatric cardiology and neonatal intensive care, for further evaluation, management, and potential surgical intervention.
