Patient Shifted In Emergency Ambulance From Sarita Vihar To Indraprastha Apollo Hospital



On an emergency call received from a home located in SARITA VIHAR, Delhi, an unconscious patient was immediately shifted to INDRAPRASTHA Apollo HOSPITAL in Lifesavers ICU ambulance. The patient suddenly got unconscious at home while working. As soon as the call arrived, Lifesavers private ambulance with ventilator along with a team of EMTs(emergency medical technicians) rushed to the provided address. Upon examining, EMT found the patient alive and breathing but unresponsive to the verbal commands. On further examination, LOW BP (blood pressure) was recorded on the MULTIPARA MONITOR. Understanding the need of the hour, immediately pillows were placed under the legs of the patient to add declination to the body towards the head. This responsive activity of the team increased the blood flow in the patient towards the head. In addition to this, blood sugar was also checked and found low. To bring the sugar levels up, our EMT Immediately put canula for intravenous infusion of 25% dextrose. Also, they had to put the patient on oxygen support. After all the efforts, the patient got slightly conscious and was immediately shifted to nearby INDRAPRASTHA Apollo HOSPITAL.
