Lifesavers Air Ambulance From Guwahati to Delhi

Premature baby with Congenital heart disease (Anatomy heart defect) shifted safely from Guwahati to Delhi by air ambulance. The patient was very much sick.

During the transportation, we faced various challenges such as:

1- The weight of the baby was 1600 gm, we had to maintain normal temperature to keep baby warm. It was done by using very good quality of Incubator (Branded).

2- The baby also had secondary chest infection with sepsis. He was on very high setting of ventilator and was shifted on very good quality of ventilator.

3- The baby had pulmonary edema due to which very frequent effective suction through endotracheal tube was required.

4- The baby was on multiple syringe pumps.
