High-Risk Patient Transfer From Nangloi to LNJP Hospital

Safe Transfer of a High-Risk Patient: A Case of Precision & Care
Transporting critically ill patients isn’t just about moving them—it’s about stabilization, vigilance, and expertise.
Recently, the Life Savers Ambulance team was called to transfer a 150 kg patient from Nangloi to LNJP Hospital. The patient, diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and Pneumonia, was on NIV support and at high risk of respiratory distress.
Challenges included:
- Ensuring uninterrupted NIV support to prevent hypoxia
- Managing weight-related complications for safe handling
- Continuous monitoring for respiratory failure risks
With precise coordination and expert intervention, the patient was transferred safely and seamlessly. Another mission accomplished in the race against time!
