From Delhi to Mumbai: A Journey of Grit, Grace & Critical Care

An 87-year-old female patient, a known case of cerebrovascular accident (CVA) resulting in a left-sided hemiplegia, with a history of intracerebral hemorrhage, was in a state of altered consciousness and required continuous oxygen support. The patient was also dependent on frequent oral suctioning due to impaired airway clearance. Given her critical condition and the need for specialized care closer to her family, she was transferred from Delhi to Mumbai via rail ambulance. The transfer was executed under continuous medical supervision by our experienced doctor and paramedic team. Despite the complexity of her medical condition, the patient was successfully and safely transported to Mumbai, her hometown, for further treatment and supportive care.
