ECMO Patient Transfer From Dehradun To Sir Gangaram Hospital Delhi

This is regarding shifting of critically sick patient who was on ECMO Machine. ECMO means extra corporeal membrane oxygenation. This patient was admit in a hospital in Dehradun and was on ventilator. However he couldn't maintain normal oxygen level of body on ventilator and required immediate ECMO support. Our team of 3 doctors (ICU specialist, Vascular surgeon and Perfusionist) went to Dehradun from Delhi. They assessed the patient for ECMO requirements and insertion of ECMO was done in next 2 hrs.
