Baby Shifted to Sir Gangaram Hospital- Delhi by Lifesavers AIR AMBULANCE


A 4 Yr Old baby was admitted in a big hospital in Varanasi. The baby had only 2 days history of–
- High grade fever
- Consciousness decreasing (gratually)
- followed by seizure
The baby was electives intubated and put on ventilator. On basis of clinical and pathological reports–patient was Diagnosed-ACUTE LIVER FAILURE, HEPATIC ENCEPHALOPATHY with shock. The baby had deranged coagulopathy profile–tendency of bleeding. Baby had severe pneumonia with one sided absolutely white lung(ARDS)-was on Very high setting of ventilator (with fio2-90%,PEEP-10).
Baby was shifted to Sir Gangaram Hospital- Delhi for further treatment by AIR AMBULANCE with very much expert medical team (A DOCTOR-critical care specialist, EMT-expert and we’ll experience).baby was safely shifted to Delhi. Important features of transportation–
- Baby was very very sick
- All most all parameters of vitals was very much abnormal (very low BP with very high pulse rate)
- baby had mild lung bleeding (kept full back-in case of heavy bleeding)
- it was a completely BED TO BED transportation-means once we took baby on our life saving system ( ventilator/multiple infusion pumps-for Inotropes and sedations/)–was fully connected up to delhi (Sir GANGARAM HOSPITAL).
- it was a safe transportation and uneventful.
